What is your most unusual or interesting sausage recipe? I will be making a large variety of sausages later this week and would like to move away from my tried and true favorites.I will be making sausage from deer, moose and mountain sheep.
This is the week every year when I make a mountain of sausage and then host a hunters only potluck for my friends and their families. Always a lot of fun.Last year I had a RUEBEN sandwich at a restaurant and got the idea to make a sausage with all those ingredients in it. I made it with corned moose, added sauerkraut and cubes of Swiss cheese right in my sausage mix and stuffed it into casings.It sure raised a lot of discussion.Looking for any and all ideas and will post any recipes that I develop based on your ideas.
