Bill, that does look good, but for my taste I would leave out the brown sugar. A pity to have to wait until the end of lent as now in the cold weather is the time for a bowl. Ah, the sacrifices made.

Looks good.
You should do what I do; I always give up Fish for Lent. Still a sacrifice.

dcpd,

Probably extra time in purgatory for you for that one. But funny.

When I was growing up (Catholic Schools) we had fish on Fridays throughout the year in the school cafeteria.

Reminds me of the old one about the Protestant that converts to Mother church + one Friday the priest is walking by his house + smells steak cooking, he goes around back + sees the guy spooning gravy over the steak while saying over + over, "I'm a Catholic, not a Protestant + this is a fish + not a steak".

Like the guy who had Jewish Alzheimers; you forget everything but the guilt.

We should never feel guilt for what our ancestors have done!

We were not there!

The current society’s nuttier nonsense is so stupid it defies comprehension!

No generations are innocents!

Saeed, it's an old joke; told by a jew. But you are correct. I have no need or desire to feel guilt from anything that was done ages past by one of my race.

Never mistake motion for action.
