When selling a home everyone looks for creative ways to get their house off the market, and the sellers of one home in Midland have done exactly that.


They’re offering $500 in tacos if you purchase their house.

The saying If it sounds too good to be true, It probably is, doesn't apply to this story.

When you first hear you can't help but laugh.

“To bring joy to people through tacos because thats what tacos are all about, they’re shaped like a smile...right?” Said broker with Boswell and Associates Real Estate Management, John Boswell.

Boswell says you can get any type of tacos you want, from any restaurant.

The $500 incentive is just a way to get people's attention, and it's working!

“I thought it was silly and most people will, but its clever and the whole point to marketing and advertising is to one, get peoples attention, two hold on to it, and three do something about it and were working on three right now,” said Boswell.

The homeowner, Gabriel Salgado, is shocked at the attention it's getting.


"They must love tacos like I do, but we want to sell our house so the tacos are just to have some fun but were going to give out the tacos to someone that buys the house," said Salgado.

Boswell and Associates says they've seen an increase in the number of phone calls and they already have an new incentive in the works for their next home.
