1 pound of hog stew meat, 1 inch or so in size
1/2 large vidalia onion, heavy dice
1 summer squash cut into chunks
1 serrano pepper, diced
2-3 cloves garlic, diced
Chinese five spice
Soy sauce
Crushed red pepper
Chicken or beef stock

Brown the meat in a large skillet or wok type pan. I use olive oil, salt and pepper to taste.
Set aside.
In same pan, add more olive oil, saute the onion, pepper and garlic, then add the squash, a small amount of stock to keep it moist, cover and let cook a few minutes till nearly soft.
Add the meat, a teaspooon of Chinese five spice, a few tablespoons of soy sauce, and, if you like, a dash of crushed red pepper.
Continue to cook on low for five or ten mintues.
