I am helping a friend clear an estate. In this estate, are THOUSANDS of Old style Winchester wads(12g) in boxes and once fired hulls(12g and 20g).

Also, many LARGE cannisters of old powder.....some unopened for all guages.

My question is how much to ask?

Any help appreciated. Would like to avoid Ebay.

I am in the DFW area if that helps.

Thanks,
Kyle

Kyle, the old Winchester compression formed hulls were the best for some time. The new AA's have a separate base wad and have fallen out of favor among trap and skeet shooters with Remington hulls being the one of choice today.

That said I would imagine you could get 5 cents each for the hulls. The wads are still available to load the old hulls so they are not obsolete as yet. The value of the hulls new are $16 for 1000 or $78 for 5000. You might check with some local trap and skeet ranges and put up a sign. I would expect they will go fast.

I would be interested in the powder but the haz mat fee for shipping may make it too expensive.

Email me the type of powder and wt of the canisters if you can.
