Does anyone have a load using Unique?

I'd like it to be 1.200 FPS or greater.

I think Unique is way too fast for this load.
I think you will need to use Blue Dot and it takes a lot of it to go that fast.

I managed to find an old Alliant brochure that listed Unique with a 1 OZ load.....but they no longer do.....I think you're right.....even Alliant no longer lists it!

I'll save my Blue dot for heavy 12 Ga loads so it looks like IMR-800X and Longshot are in the offering.

I used to use Winchester 571 with 1 oz in the 20 and it really rocked. Good for early season ducks. They would give you a headache if used in a light gun. Unique doesn't meter well and is probably too fast. I would look at Hogden's site and see what they list these days.

+1 - I agree Unique is a bit fast. My 1 oz loads utilize Blue Dot and the Rem SP-20 wad.

I have use herco in my 1oz and 1and 1/8 oz loads for 40 plus years. Couldn't be happier they have killed untold number of grouse, pheasents and other upland birds.
