I am also looking for 410 reloading data. I just bought one to be used for hunting so I will be shooting 3" shells. I don't currently have a stockpile so I could use any hull, Fiocchi or otherwise. Any advise would be appreciated. Most of my manuals are at least ten to fifteen years old so if you could tell me any recent publications that have a good bit of information would also be helpful.

Snipe hunter: I found all kind of shotgun reloading info online for everything but 410.When I typed in 3" 410 fiocchi shells I kept getting info on remington and peters 3" shells. Maybe they have the same loading data.

Wild Bill, all of the powder manufacterers had a load or two for the few most pouplar hulls but not much more than that. I decided to order the most recent edition of "Reloading for Shotgunners". It is the 5th edition and was just published in 2005. I also got the Lyman "Shotshell Reloading Handbook", the 4th edition. All of my data was outdated so I needed to do it for all the other gauges as well as the 410. Best of luck in your search. I bought a case of 3" Rio and I don't think there's a chance of me finding published reloading data for them.

I asked a guy once about shotshell reloading and about a particular case. He filled the case with water and then poured the contents into a AA case and the water filled the AA identically to the same level.....he said.....load it like it was an AA case.

The 410 is a bitch of a case to load but the shells are worth it.....I have a very heavy walled over/under and wasn't afraid to do as the guy suggested and lo and behold...it worked just fine. I even mnaged to get 3/4 ounce lead in the 3" shells like the old factory loads.

I'm reluctant to tell others to do this as I have no clue what pressures I'm running except to say there is nothing I can see that suggests any issues at all.

Be your own judge.
