I load for the ten gauge mag and am about to "stock up"on powder.I have never used Longshot and was hopeing to get some feedback about it.According to my data,it appears to be about the most versatile for my uses.Bluedot also looks good except that I'm bothered by it's reputation for being temperamental in cold weather.
I've used Steel powder but it's not very versatile.I realize that Longshot is a ball powder.Does it tend to squeeze past the shot cup when the ammo is carried a lot?
I would appreciate any information that anyone can share.Thanks.
If the powder migrates past the wad, it's because you're not using the correct wad for the type of hull; straight-walled or tapered. Just because it's a published, pressure-tested load doesn't mean the components are supremely compatible.

I've used both longshot and bluedot in magnum 12 Ga.....I like them both but longshot seems to deliver a bit better performance.
