lee440You post a picture of a great looking SS ElCo and give us no info on the engine? What kind of Car Guy are you, A teaser?

K EvansI had a '72 El Camino SS 454 I bought in Houston for $600.00 at the height of the gasoline "shortage". It had all of 270 HP and got almost 8 miles per gallon on the highway. I only kept it about two years...wish I had still had it.

markopolo50Very nice ride and a good year. I was always wondering if it was feasible to do what you did and not have an arm and leg tied up into a car. Care to say approximately how much the repairs cost? Thanks

FrostbitNice!!
I had a 1969 and it gave me nothing but trouble. That said I always liked the body style even though it's not a Mopar.
