I'd sure like to try! A McLaren M1 is set up the sam. A good M1 is worth a lot of money these days.

If the owner was to drive this around town picking up his fish and chips, what would be the insurance cost?

Nah, not for me. How could you possibly go through the drive through at McDonalds? At least the problem of left hand drive and right hand drive has been solved with this car!!!
