I have a friend here in Texas that buids a new frame that accomodates the new corvette motor & transmission and the older body styles of vettes.
They are making a gig to build new frames for the 55 cheveys.

Now they are doing the 55-57 chevy frames. They are made in Seguin Texas.

Google the "789" car made by N2A (none two alike.
combining the 57 58 59 Chevies - with the corvette frame and new motor.
