surprised to see a group in my banks parking lot. My buddy calls these "Hair Dresser" cars.

Alec TorresI always thought that the definitive Alfa Romeo was the 2000 GTV.
Cool cars, but odd driving position. Seems that they're made for folks with short legs or very long arms....maybe Italians? :-)

poprivitItalian interiors are fully constructed to ISA standards. (Italian Standard Ape)
And make sure you get the protective pan on the bottom of the engine. Many Alfa Spider motors have met their demise at railroad crossings :-)

craigsterMy brother had a Giulietta Sprint back in the 60s. They're worth more than a few bucks these days.

In college about 20 years ago I worked in an import auto parts store. My boss, the owner, had owned a lot of car including a 66 289 Cobra.
The one car that he always waxed poetic about was an Alfa GTV that he had owned. He never tired of taking about that car. I may have gotten tired of hearing about it but I never let on. You have to humor a guy when he is talking about the love of his life.
