The Atlantic is a great car! It was designed by Ettore Bugatti's son. The body was intended to be made from magnesium, that is why the fenders and body have the riveted flange down the centers but in the end they were made of aluminum. Not sure of the $30-$40M price, I think more like $20M probably but I haven't been following them that much anymore. Bugattis are cars that must be seen in the flesh to be really appreciated. Every part, every line is the automobile as an art form. | |||

The Museum of Modern Art in NYC had a Bugatti Royale exhibit !! It was fun to watch the people ,their oohs , aahs and expressions ! | |||

I agree with Huvius. Every (original ) Bugatti ever built simply oozes their own particular mix of elegance and style....... they might not be everyone's cup of tea but they are always real headturners. I appreciate the Volksgatti still carries the original name and is a head turner in it's own way but I can't bring myself to classify it as a proper Bugatti. | |||
