Today I finally made the decision to super charge my 2013 Grand Sport and had our local speed shop order an A&A kit. The car should be pushing 575-600 hp at the rear wheels after the install and tune compared to 436 hp stock at the flywheel.
Other guys who had similar installs on the same car report mid to high 10 second quarter mile times with good runs and sticky tires.
7-10 days for the kit to arrive then 2-3 days for the install.

Hopefully the kit comes with methanol injection? If you run sticky tires you might want to consider better axle shafts. A good friend runs a Procharger on his '03 Z06 and has managed to find the common weak spots on Vette drivetrains. He finally switched to an automatic after shredding the tranny twice and breaking both aftermarket axle shafts. That was at the 600 horse level and now he built an iron block for it to survive its current 946 horse level. Damn car was scary fast at 600 and I wont ride in it at the current level and he is a helluva driver and I don't scare easily!

Car is an automatic and doubt it will ever wear a set of slicks so the axles should be safe.
I researched the methanol topic a lot and the general opinion on the Corvette forum is it isn't needed on a otherwise stock LS3 but is a good "insurance" option if you live in a really hot climate. But if I install headers next year the methanol kit will go in then.

I am waiting for the day when GM adds direct injection and variable valve timing to to LS7 (427). With direct injection they might be able to get 12-1 compression, 11.5-1 should be no problem and do it on 91 octane fuel.
Probably get +550 HP and +500lb-ft of torque but very drivable as a daily driver and get good fuel economy.
A compressor is easily the cheapest way to add hp.
I just like the throttle response and predictability of a NA motor. They also run cooler.
You may note some of these NA exotics (Ferrari F12) have 14.1-1 compression ratios. Doubt they will run on 91 octane fuel so if you live in areas to is not available you are SOL…
Come on GM!!!

Dyno shows:
Stock hp was 368 and torque 370 at the wheels
After super charger install and a tune it is now 570 hp and 515 torque at the wheels on 91 octane. dancing

If ya'all get a chance to drive a Corvette (or similar sports car) with this much HP you got to give it a go.
Two months later, no issues at all, no check engine lights, just globs of power.
Disconnect the traction control button on the console and the car will break those massive rear tires loose if you floor it going 40 mph.
Thumbs up to the supercharger. After I get situated in Tennessee plan on installing a set of long tube headers then calling it quits.

Awesome!!! Ain't nothing like a blown engine.

I owned the supercharged AMGs a while back the S 55 sedan and SL 55 convertible. Absolute rocket ships!!!! Just loved the instant power available at any rev range.

I just picked up an S Class coupe, which has twin turbos and stock 449 hp and 516 lb-ft. Now that I've done my 1000 mi break in I'm going to get the Renntech ECU upgrade good for 530 hp and 606 lb-ft.

Have fun!!!!!

PS I'd be careful about the traction control. I nearly wrecked my Ferrari the first day I got it. I've never taking TC off since............
