somehow, the idea of going that fast in a car that is basically a Lotus Exige that has been cut in half and a chevy V-8 stuck in it would be scarier than exciting...

That's an amazing feat for a car, for sure. My only issue with the Venom is the refinement level. If you draw the obvious comparison of that car to a Bugatti Veyron or Chiron, they have an unparalleled level of luxury and quality that hasn't ever been seen before. The engineering and $$$ behind those cars dwarfs whatever John Hennessey can spend.

After 1971, we thought we had seen the last of speed..
