Values aside, the ones I'd most like to own are the gullwing Mercedes and the Brough.

Unless it was a different car, I believe it was Stirling Moss' 1962 250 GTO.

They're certainly nice, undoubtedly elegant and unquestionably virtually priceless but the Merc & the Brough just do something for me that the 250 GTO just doesn't do.

Weird huh! bewildered

I am still working on Mama to "upgrade" to a new model Gull Wing Coupe. It is the only car I think could move me out of my old XK-8 rag top.

I will go along with that. The Austin Marina brought back memories. I can't remember the model off-hand, but she had cream leather upholstery, walnut trim and dashboard, 1800 with twin Webers. Loved that little aristocrat. Her exhaust note indicated good, refined breeding.

The name Marina suited them well. rotflmo

They were famous in the UK for water leaks......... That said, did you ever notice the number of small things such as door handles & switches etc they took from the Marina and used on the early Range Rovers? LOL!
