got a remington 700 mls 54caliber. got a few 54 cal 44-300 gr xtp.. will these shot good out of this muzzle loader?? does any body have a remington 54??? what shot good out of yours?? like to try some 240gr xtps.. these has the white sabot is this the high pres sabot?? our is it the red ones???? thanks WORM GO BUCKEYES

I have the same muzzleloader. The Remington is a fast twist and acts squirrley with some loads. I use Barnes sabots in 275 grains with a charge of 2 pyrodex pellets. I have changed the ignition system to use the shotgun primers (Federal's are what I use). The primer upgrade kit is available from Midway or Remington.
Accuracy in my gun runs less that 1 inch groups at 100 yards.
