derf, since you are contemplating coming over to the dark side, just go ahead and get a nice inline. Resistance is futile. Putting a scope on that sidelock would be a worse sin. Seriously, my eyes are the reason I went with inlines. I believe you'll find the experience with some of them just isn't all THAT different.

Or you might try a ghost ring sight before going to scopes.
