triple 7 load for .45 cal

i am currently using real black powder in my 45 and want to give this triple 7 a crack.i am using 300gr minnie slugs loaded with 70gr of 2f powder.i was told that triple 7 has about 15% more grunt so does this mean i will have to load down?

popcornIf you load with 60gr.volume of T7(70gr x 85%) you should get the same speed.

also depends upon WHICH real black you have been using. If Swiss, keep it the same. Smiler

Assuming you are using 70 grains BY VOLUME MEASURE rather than by actual weight, then I would agree to go to 60 grains volume measure of T7.....
