I have tried many bullets, powders, and cleaning methods, and can't get my Black Diamond under 1.5" at 50 yards. The plastic stock fits poorly and you can rock the action in the stock by tightening the screws back and forth. I have found it shoots best with the front screw half as tight as the rear one. It seems as if the stock has no bottom. anybody have any problems like this. can a plastic stock be bedded?

I have a Remington 22-250 with a HS Precision stock. I bought a Steel Bed kit from Brownells and beaded the action. It definitely shoots tighter groups now. I cant say about plastic stocks but if your gun is loose in the stock it will affect accuracy. You might check with Brownells and see if it will bond to your stock. Good luck. Swede44mag
