How different is the backstrap of the colt1860 and the Rem1858?

The reason I ask is I want to have a Rem1858 with a shoulder stock. I can buy a Uberti shoulder stock that fits a Uberti colt1860 from Dixie gun works. I was just wondering if I can fit the Uberti stock to a Rem1858.
