While you wait, try between 70 and 80 grains of powder and try both 530rb and 535rb as well as 10,15 and 18 though patches. Be careful that you don't get a ball stuck because of a too tight a combo of patch and ball. It would be worth your while as well to try FFG and also pick up a bottle of T/C No13 cleaning solution. It makes for easy clean ups and if you do get a round stuck a liberal dose of No 13 helps to lubricate it for easier removal. Have fun,we are! derf

Currently I am using 90 grains of 3Fg and getting good groups at 100 yards using the .530 rb and .015 patch. I just thought perhaps the powder charge was a bit stiff. I actually ran it up to 110 grain and still had fairly decent groups at 50 yards. I suppose I am still a little high.

There's no actual lube in T/C-13. It is one of a million solvents that you can douse a patch with. Very weak stuff... will not remove anything more than blackpowder fouling. If you encounter leading, copper, plastic or carbon buildup, like mild soap & water solutions, it may produce white patches in a still-dirty bore. A real bp solvent like Butch's unleashes buildup in your bore that T/C-13 leaves behind.
