Lads, At one time I was able to obtain a replacement thimble for my Renegade onto which a sling swivel could be attached. Forgot who made it (Uncle Mike???). I have a stainless, standard thimble in my "pile of precious parts" in case anyone needs one of those. I need a blue thimble (threaded to accept the sling swivel). Do any of you know know a source for this item. Couldn't seem to find it in Midway or other suppliers. I'm finishing up my restoration of an older Renegade and would like to put a sling on it. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike Si vis pacem... parabellum

Alex, Heading for the Pony Express office today. They transfer to the dog sleds for the trip to Detroit where it is transferred to a two-masted schooner making it's way through the great lakes and St. Lawrence. Once in the northern Atlantic the head south (fair winds permitting) to Bath, ME for a trip via bicycle courier to you!! That's the beauty of Michigan's UP, we'er 100yrs behind everyone!!! And like it!!! Thanks again, Mike Si vis pacem... parabellum
