I am looking to get a new stock on the old T/C Renegade. I was considering Restoration Firearms, but only learned today that Greg Marts had passed away.

Is there another firm out there doing general restoration, making stocks, etc.?

Try track of the wolf. You can buy a new stock for 100 to 175 dollars and finishe it your self. You can get as fancy or plain as you want. You have the hardware why not do it your self. Click on the link. Ron

Thanks all. I had looked at Petonica River but had not seen Track of the Eolf before.

The stock has cracks behind the tang and in the wrist. They don't cause a functioning hazard, but are just unsightly. I had been looking at Restoration Firearms because they would do up the metal as well as the wood. I wonder who else would be good for this.

TC will replace the stock for free , just mail it to them with a note , I would mail the whole gun and let them fit the barrel, lock and tang to the stock .
If you need there address just email me or check the web for it .
Put it to the attenion of Roland when mailing it .

Thanks to all for the help. I was pointed to a used Renegade stock on sale, and bought it! Looking forward to seeing what it looks like when it arrives. thumb

Any suggestions on refinishing a factory stock and rebluing the barrel are welcomed by this "seasoned amateur".
