I have a Ruger Old Army here that is like new. Got this one with some other things in a trade but is missing the bullet seater/plunger. Does anyone have an old one for parts or know where one of these could be picked up. This is a stainless gun but on this part I don't care. Here is a couple pics showing the void where it would go. Thanks for looking, Rodney.

The best thing to do is have your gunsmith call Ruger as I don't think they will sell it to you .
You can always try .

Brownells shows it as available. (part #3,,'Bullet Rammer')

Don't know if it's stainless steel or blued. The stainless parts usually have 'SS' in their desciptions and the blued parts say 'blued'. Either way it shows as in stock, but that isn't always up to date in my experience.

Numrich shows both the blued and the stainless rammer in stock. Part #4 in their schematic/list.

Hope these help..

Thanks 2152hq, that does help. Ruger also shows the part but wasn't sure if they would sell directly to me. The Old Army revolver is just too nice of a black powder rig not to put into use.
Rodney.
