I think the answer is probably. I don't see why not. Your Ruger probably has a pretty slow twist in it for modern ammunitions that use light bullets. But anyway, it will probably work if you do two important things. First, use a BP compatible lube - Alox is not one of them. Second, you will probably want to use a blow tube between shots. I presume that when you say "muzzleloader" propellents, you mean Black Powder. If you want to try that other stuff, I can't help. Tried it once, it was ugly. Brent PS. don't be afraid to compress real powder up to 0.5". More compression will lead to less fouling generally. | ||
