Just saw a guy in my office sent from the ER for burns to his palm. Seems he was smoking a cigar and handling Pyrodex pellets.....not a good idea. Severe 2nd degree burns to his palm.....he's lucky that the palm is the thickest skin on the body(along with sole)otherwise he'd need to be grafted.

Just an FYI.....and I'm guessing almost everyone knew that already.

I had a guy get out of his vehicle and come over to my truck to "see what I was doing." (Out in the boonies.) Ciggie butt dangling out of his mouth, and I had a bread pan with the powder I "catch" from pouring into a measure. Yeah, there was a breeze too.

Came around the corner on a walk and watched two people pouring a 5 gal. gas can into their auto, with butts hanging out of their mouth.

"No Smoking" signs at the gas pumps and I see people who put their lighted butt on the curb next to the pumps while they fill their tank. Gas fumes run along the ground.

And so I wonder if the Surgeon General accounts for "Smoking Is Hazardous To Your Health" when people blow themselves up.
