Has anyone had any experience with this product and is it really cleaner burning than Pyrodex?

I have used the shockeys gold and i got pi$$ poor accuracy, also this stuff has the shelf life of milk,if opened the powder turns into one big clump and it was not exposed to any moisture.stick with the pyrodex pellets.jmo, jim

I went to the range Sunday to sight in the new scope on my Knight. There was an older gent and his daughter trying to sight in their 2 guns. Every time they shot, I could see the powder charge burn and leave a trail of smoke all the way to the 50 yard target line. I walked over and asked what they were using (as if I didn't already know)! "Jim Shockey's Gold", he said. "Sticks " I asked ? Sure enough. I then had him walk over to where I was shooting from and watch while his daughter shot. He couldn't believe it!! He told me that they were having trouble with sighting in and there seemed to be no consistancy with the loads. Now he knows why !!! Elite Archery and High Country dealer.

I must be lucky. So far my omega with 348gr PB shoots into a thumbnail group at 50yds with two Shocky Gold Sticks. Better than loose T7 so far. I will say that the recommended lighter weight PB's shot like crap, and the 348's and 405's are very consistant. In the past have had my best luck with Hornady 250's and 95gr Pryrodex, but I was looking for an easier loading set up. This is my first time using anything but loose powder and so far so good. Not sure it would work well in my other MZ. One thing which isn't working for me is how to set up a quick reload. THe speedloaders I use are too small for the Gold Sticks.
