IF you are using a .50 with a sabot designed for .452" bullets, you can shoot ANY .45 pistol bullet in it that is not too long to be stabilized by the rifling twist of your rifle.
If you are shooting a .45, I use the Lee .454" 220-grain bullet that's made for the Ruger Old Army on top of a Wonderwad in my .45 rifles as a full bore-size conical! I also use this same bullet, but cast from wheelweights instead of pure lead, in the .45 ACP with 8 grains of HS 6! Shoots damngood in the M1911 as well!!
Most don't generally shoot very well with 777 powders/magnum powder charges. Most of my results showed the bullets going sideways... BTW... that's not good...lol
