Has anyone had any experience with this rifle. It is not the black powder cartridge model, but the 209 ignition Rolliing Block model. I would like to know about the rifle's accuracy, fit and finish. Thank you ... Tom Purdom

I have been reading this forum for quite awhile but when I read your post I decided I had to register to say something. I bought one of these in 6/02. Really liked the look and feel of the gun but after going to the range, the beech plug broke with less than 20 shots through it. I was shooting about 80grn of Pyrodex and sabots w/240grn 44cal. I returned it to Cabela's and got a new one with many apologies. The new on broke on the 1st shot, breech plug again.
Also, neither Cabela's nor Perdisoli supply specific load data for this gun. The only load data I got was verbal from the gunsmith at the Cabela's store and an e-mail from their problem solver in Nebraska. I did not get a response from Perdisoli
Unless they have made some changes, I would stay away from that one.
I have since brought a CVA firestorm, and after lapping the barrel, it shoots great. It's not a high end gun but it's good for stomping through the woods and puts the bullit where I aim with just about anything I feed it.
