CMBB, At the risk of sounding sacreligious,I recently aquired an old T/C Hawken 54 cal caplock. It is all blue rather than brass so I decided to have it drilled and tapped for a scope. First though it needed a new ramrod thimble and a wedge. Talking to T/C revealed that this isn't a bastardized piece but rather a limited production special. Now how in the heck can I ruin something like that? I am thinking of obtaining a used barrel for the experiment. Yeah I know, a scope on a side hammer? But my eyes are going too! derf
