My wife bought me a 32 cal rifle barrel that will fit on my 50 cal. frame. My question is: Could I use .312 dia. pistol bullets with a patch to shoot in this barrel or should I stick to round balls? I've been shooting 50's for awhile and use sabots w/44 and 45 cal bullets and really enjoy them. Wondered if anyone has done this before I blow myself up. Any info would be appreciated.

For what the .32 is made for, I would shoot patch and ball. You are a lucky man. I would love a .32 barrel for my muzzleloader.
