Hi , I just aquired a pile of pyrodex pellets that some guy bought out here for a Muzzel loader hunt. They were apparently used in a .50 cal rifle. Each ones weighs 30-31grns. Are these "the equivalent" of 50grns of BP?

That should be correct. Those would be 50/50 pellets. Put the dark side in first. Smiler

Thanks

What would be a reasonable load behind a 320grn Lee REAL bullet in a lyman deerstalker? No literature arrived with the rifle and I cannot seem to be able to download anything from lyman's web site?
