I have used the 50 gr. "power equivalent" sticks and found them to be MUCH cleaner than triple se7en pellets in my 50 cal T/C Omega. Cannot really say that it is a more accurate powder because both print out to 1 inch at 100 yards with 300 gr Hornady soft point with black MMP sabot but reloading is easier by a mile and no "crud ring" with Pioneer powder. Have read that FFFis the way to go with APP as the FF is coarse and chunky and tougher to measure out accurately but I have no experience with the loose APP powder. Hope this helps. Gary Banas

It is pretty much identical to what they used to sell as Clean Shot! Remember Clean Shot? It is about 15% weaker than an equal volume of 777..... "Bitte, trinks du nicht das Wasser. Dahin haben die Kuhen gesheissen."

I have posted this before, on a different thread with exactly the same question... I will give you almost a complete pound of American Pioneer fff. I have never seen such a dirty BPS. I used it with CCI #11s in my White Model 97 Ultra Mag, and after the third shot I almost broke the ramrod trying to push a saboted bullet into the barrel. (I get a dozen shots with 777 before I have to clean...) The only way Jim Shockey can talk about 1000 shots without cleaning is that some other poor sap is being paid to clean the rifle for him. Stick with the Triple Seven and forget about AP. It is as coarse as cat litter, and in my estimation is worth just about the same dollar amount per pound...
