I AM located in central Iowa, and would love to know how I can get "real" black powder. It's funny, but the stores sell flintlock guns, but then shrug their shoulders when you ask about powder.

DSM is closer, but I'm north of Ames a bit. I can sometimes scare up a spare can or two. But the shop in DSM is better for you.
