I bought a .45 cal long rifle this weekend.
The marking on the barrel on say black powder and on the other side PR. Any idea of who makes it. Im sure the PR is the logo.

I doubt its Pecatonica. I don't think they made complete rifles and it probably wouldn't say "black powder" on it. Are there any proof marks under the barrel?

I'll have to take some pictures and post them.
The guy i got it from said he tried to also find the maker and could not. Said he thought it was custom made from a guy in Natchez.
