I guess I am more interested in the Smokeless/BP loads. The claim in the Lyman manual is an increase of velocity abd a cleaner burn. I don't plan on running out there at 1000yds or entering into competition.
I am more interested in the likely advantages of using a duplex load versus an all BP load. What powders of the smokeless variety work? Ratios of Smokeless versus BP to use? Compression depth of the loads? etc.
All of my intentions revolve around playing and having fun with this new rifle. If duplex loads offer some advantages I want to give it a try.

The idea was to obtain cleaner burning BP loads. I was unable to see any notable difference between these an all-BP loads, so I quit trying. I haven't been able to detect any advantage to using a duplex load. Velocity is certainly no higher! Just get yourself some Swiss BP! It leaves your barrel as clean as any duplex load with smokeless and GOEX!
