Although my father would disagree (he likes the Lancaster style long rifle with german silver, inlays, and engraving all over) I much prefer plain rifles like the Southern style poor boy rifles. Heck, build a nice Jaeger, they are pretty rifles or if it isn't too modern for you mack a nice Schutzen style...
