Those are percussion caps for a muzzle loading musket (large nipple). Some refer to them as "high hats."

They are known as Musket Caps, I use them instead of the #11 hunting as they are allot easier to handle with cold hands and they always go off !

after looking around at what these run Im surprised someone hasnt bught these. Am I missing something? I would really like to clear them out so if any of you have an offer FOR ALL of them I will certainly consider it.
They have always been kept dry and cased right up unil I took these photos if that is a concern. I was an ammo rep up until this year and these came in a shotshell shipment.

Hi Ultra.

I would love to take them off your hands but I'm over in South Africa and the hassle of getting them here is a nightmare.

Sean.

maybe you could contemplate the lowest price you would take, and PM me...? I don't really need them, but it would be nice to have a lifetime supply in case I ever got a musket nipple-d rifle.

Ultraman...........RWS (German) musket caps typically cost 35-38$ a thousand from vendors amongst those who shoot them. I would have to re-sight my competition musket if I changed caps. Caps are cheaper in group buys too. If I bought even a 100 caps from you I would be subject to the powder/primers HAZMAT FEE plus shipping. Truthfully, your price is not much of a "buy" for anyone even if you discounted them. Sorry, but that's where the cow bit the corn. ned
