Anyone have experience with these people and their sharps rifles? I spoke with them and they seem like good people but doesn't hurt to get references before giving them $1900 for a rifle. Thanks...Curt David http://www.1874sharps.com/ __________________ [ 01-30-2003, 20:58: Message edited by: cgdavid ]

Brent Thanks! I just got a response back from Shiloh and they are about the same price with the same turnaround time (10 months). Its tough making decisions like this. You also helped me out with info on sights on another thread. Now that I have enough sight options to chose from, I'm a little confused as to why the there is so much difference in price. Seems like a lot of people like Baldwins, MVA and Parts Unknown. They all look alike based on pictures I've seen but prices are from about $200 - near $500 for a rear long range. I have no problem spending more for something if there is a real benefit from it. The only benefit I will not pay for is brand name for the sake of the name. Anyway, I'll keep you posted as things develope. I hope to have things in progress sometime next week. Thanks gain... Curt
