Should i use the heavier 300gr. sabots in the elite or something around 240-250 gr. i purchased a black/blue elite from cabelas for $259.00. It is 50cal with the 26" barrel | ||

I've had BEST results with 200gr T/C 40/50 Shockwaves in my .50 Disc Elite. That's what I'll be hunting with this year in the Disc Elite. I've had great results with 200gr and 220gr Dead Centers, 250gr SSTs, and 245gr Barnes Spit-Fires as well. What are you intending on shooting with that rifle? If it's whitetail, I had rather have a flatter shooting bullet in the 200-260gr weight range. Will recoil less as well. I think you make a great choice with the .50 Disc Elite. | |||

I'd probably get the .452 250gr XTP in 45/50 sabots. Should work great. I have a friend that is getting best accuracy in HIS Disc with the 250gr XTP in fact! You're gonna like that gun! | |||
