I have one in .50 caliber and with the Hornady 385 grain Great Plains bullet and black powder it's accurate and fun to shoot. I shot a hog with it a while back.

I have one in 54. I'm leaving the country tomorrow on vacation/Safari in Zim, and no Internet. If your interested at the end of September pm me on Sept 28th. This is a percussion bullet rifle "hunter" and was born to kill elk. It's in great shape and is actually my second one. I got it as a back up, have never needed it and have now switched sides. I'm using a K.L. Shelton 54 flintlock I bought at a SCI auction a couple years ago. If your not interested, I wish you good luck on the project.
