Isn't that sort of a contradiction of terms? It always seemed to me muzzleloader hunting was a close range sport? Roger ___________________________ I'm a trophy hunter - until something better comes along. *we band of 45-70ers*

John Rigby and his Irish team used muzzleloaders at the 1876 Creedmoor match and were it not for one of the Irishmen putting a round on the wrong target they would have won. Match was shot at 800, 900 and 1000 yards.j There's lots of long range muzzleloaders out there. I'd like to have one as well. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me". John 14:6

If I’m going to burn 14 years of bonus points on a Muzzleloader elk hunt I want all the things in my favor I can get. If I have a huge bull at 300 yards I want to be able to make the shot

I’m not familiar with Johnson muzzle loaders but 300 yards was no problem with the NULA .45 cal smokeless ML I had. All We Know Is All We Are

I just posted 2 of the Johnson muzzleloaders on the AR guns for sale. They are fantastic weapons and are far beyond what the Remington, etc. will do. York, SC
