hi. i am currently using 100grns of 3fg wano powder. on top i use a 240gr .44mag lead bullet in a sabot. accuracy not quite good enough. has anyone got any advice for me on how to get an accurate load for 100-200m distance | ||

Have you looked at the one-hole-100-yard-3-shot target I posted? Use this load: 3 pellets of 777 (about 150 grains total) 209 primer CCI or Winchester Hornady 300-grain SST/ML sabot for 50-cal muzzy. That gave 1942 fps at 15 feet from the muzzle of my Lyman Mustang Breakaway 209 Magnum muzzy. Lessee sumbuddy top that load. I killed Bambi with that load 11 days ago. That reminds me to go pick up the fresh-frozen meat at the processor. | |||

Everybody is raving about Blackhorn 209 powder. Sounds good to me. Must try. TC Shockwave bullets are reported to come as bonded or nonbonded, otherwise very similar/same as the Hornady SST/ML. Both changes might be improvements ... if they shoot as accurately. | |||
