I inherited an antique black powder rifle. It appears to be either a 38 or 40 caliber rifle (my calibers are not that good), it has a single piece stock and forearm, the stock has a patch lube storage area under an ornate brass hinged plate, and the receiver end is stamped Henry Parker Warranted. There are other small brass decorations on the stock including an 8 point brass star on the stock opposite the patch lube holder. Over all condition of the gun is excellent with little corrosion. I am interested in selling the rifle as it is sitting in my gun vault doing nothing and I am sure someone with an interest in this type of gun would be more appreciative of it than I am. Any ideas on how to get more information on the gun, it's value and how to sell it? I recently moved to the upper lower peninsula of Michigan near Traverse City and don't know much about the area in regards to gun collectors Thanks in advance for any help you can give me | ||
