Anyone know where I could locate a reamer for the 30 Super Flanged?

I'm leaning towards this cartridge, over the 30R Blaser.

It's for a Wesson #1 action.

Thanks,
Garrett

No, but good luck! That's a perfect 30 cal for a SS rifle!

Good hunting,

Andy

The 30 Super is covered by the CIP, and all of the major reamer makers will have a copy of these specs and be able to make one for you. JGS, for one, lists it in their reamer list, and without a doubt Manson, Clymer, and Pacific Tool will be able to do so as well.

You might want to check with your supplier of brass for the .30 Super to verify they are making it to CIP dimensions. Sometimes, with the older British rounds, the CIP does not adopt the dimensions used by the major ammo makers of that era. If the brass isn't CIP spec, check if your reamer maker uses the same source for cartridge or chamber drawings. The Birmingham Proof House can supply original cartridge drawings from the old makers.

30 Super brass will be pricey. You might consider one of the 30 caliber wildcats on the 9.3x74R case, such as the 30 Meacham.

Who's making brass for the 30 super flanged these days? Dies? Probably could make brass from 375 flanged mag brass.

brass is made by Bertram and Horneber(sp?).....I had to wait about 4 months to get my german brass from Huntington. The Bertram brass I used was way too hard and needed to be anealed. Great round. Mine is a H&H on trade farky action.
