Does anyone know of a forum for Thompson Center TCR rifles or where TCR owners hangout. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Single Shot, The TCR is a discontinued break open single shot rifle made by Thompson-Center. It is totally different and much more 'elegant' than the Encore or Contender. It was first offered in a double trigger model and later in a single trigger version before being discontinued. It is easy to forget the TCR but it was/is a nice rifle. Wish I had one in say 6.5x54 MS-that would be a sweet rig. Plateau Hunter

Hello. I stumbled onto this post while searching for the same answer. If there is a site dedicated to the TCR I would really like to find it. Maybe this one will serve the purpose. I have two TCR87s, a hunter and an aristocrat, and a total of four barrels, 12GA, 30-06, 243, and 17M4. I would relly like to learn more about the guns, such as how many of each model were made, do they have any frequently failing parts, and if so is there a source for replacement parts? Also any info on loading for accuracy and reliability, since single shots are notorious for being ammo-sensitive and fickle about pressure, headspacing, etc. Thanks Thrifty7
