Can anyone here explain the re-assembly procedure for a Browning B-78, or 1885 Browning? Thanks very much! Joe

There's only one trick to it but I can't remember offhand ! I'll look for a drawing , maybe that will refresh my memory . Don't hold me on this , it's been a long time ! But IIRC the logical reassembly sequence won't work. That would be to install the lever last. Instead the trigger goes in last .It's put in the receiver but not pinned.Lever installed , then finally the trigger is pinned.

The "trick" is getting the whole hammer springs affair together as a unit and holding it together as you put it back and then "slightly" opening the lever to set it I think [?]Somewhere I have a tool thingy and the instructions. When the fear of death is no longer a concern----the Rules of War change!!

Here is a link to a book that should help you out...Give him a call order the book then ask him how to fix your problem...I have been meaning to order it myself..
