I was wondering if anyone has any pix of your TC Encore rifles with the VVCG tan or OD green teflon finish? I am interested in both of these colors for my varmint gun and am wondering what they actually look like on the Encores. Can anyone post a pic here if you own one or at least have a pic of one.
And I am looking for any pix of Encores custom or not. Post em all here. Lets get a thread going of all Encore Pix! Post away guys and gals! Lets see whatcha got, lets see your pride and joy!
Hey VVJeff how about slapping my electric blue stock set and the ML barrel or the 470 nitro on a SS frame in the shop and posting some pictures. Would be nice to see them before they get here. Thanks.

absolutely. Post whatever you can. I just bought a blued camo heavy barrel 22-250 with the hanger bar and modified forend to accept the hanger bars from you a few days ago so I am interested in seeing what it will look like since I wont see my baby for a couple of weeks.
Here is the stock set that I had Fred at Bullberry build for me.
Because the forearm was for the Hanger bar system, I made this forearm for factory barrels.
Sadly, I will soon be selling the buttstock and my homemade forearm to help pay for my daughters education. If anyone is interest in them, make me an offer. (email me at drs@sisna.com).
I appreciate that comment. You think money is tight now planning the wedding and all. Wait until you tie the knot then you will learn what broke really is. And if you think that neveda is the only state with legalized prostetution you would be mistaken. You see prostitution is legal in every state however it is called marriage in most places. Also remember now matter how much money you bring home you will never own it. I've been paying for 6 years now and as the money income increases the acess to the goods decrease. One last thing I'm sure you know why the bride smiles coming down the isle on her wedding day.

So Dave must have told you about the big W, huh? Yeah, I am taking the plunge. I wish guys like you would quit scaring me about what I am getting into. I honestly don't think it will be too bad, but I guess I will find out. I don't make enough to feel bad about her taking it anyway.
I really am excited for it. As long I don't have to deal with more planning than I already have.
Stocks, well, thumbholes have always been my favorite. You guys that like to take your thumb all the way out of the stock to cock the hammer are a pain in the ass sometimes.

I'm not trying to scare you or anything. I wasn't nervous until I stood in front of the justice of the peace. Then the realization of what was happening hit like a hammer. Once the " I Do's " were done it was a great load off my mind. In fact my biggest fear during the ceremony was that I'd break wind , hint don't eat at Taco Bell the night before your wedding. As far as removing the thumb that is a minor inconvenice once you feel how comfortable those style of stocks can be.

I am hoping for it to be called the "Tooke Thumbhole" but that's just me. I just got the stock set today and it does handel better than it looks. Can't wait until the rest of my order comes in. Nice color choice Jules.

Hey Outlawsix did you have to request the finger grooves? Thats just one sweet looking stock set. Also how long is that barrel? Make sure you keep us updated on how its shooting.
The finger grooves and tear shaped grip is part of the design. The Ml barrel is .50 cal and 26" long with fluting and the smoke brake. It is still at VV getting the final touches put on it. I did get the buttstock with the forend for my 7 STW barrel Will begin load work tomorrow with the 140 gr tripple shocks and XLC bullets. Will keep ya'll informed on how it goes.

Here's a pic of my inprocess Encore project. Barrel is FoxRidge 6mm Remington, Scope is Weaver V10, Stock is a TC Laminated. Waiting on my Engraved Receiver (ordered a Blue & Stainless). Might have to have the barrel fluted and polished. What you think?
Here are a couple of my T/C rifles. The Contender is a 223 AI with a Virgin Valley barrel and Bullberry wood. The Encore has a Virgin Valley 22-250 on it and an extra barrel from Bullberry in 257 Roberts. What you are hopefully seeing is my Encore. Assembled is the 20" .350 Rem Mag. The barrel in front is the 16 1/4" .250 Savage. Both are from Fox Ridge. Sean

RJ, I paid $138. shipped for the unfinished stock and forend. I doubt Jim will be doing any buttstocks any time soon. I think he's just set up for the grips and forend.
If any one is looking for any custom encore stuff i have a VVCG stainless 6BR barrel 26" -1" bull barrel with a custom laminated blue and gray tumbhole stock.I will include dies and 200 rnds of brass.$425.00
This Encore has the factory stock and forend in Advantage timber camo. The buttstock has a Pachmayr Decelerator pad installed by Virgin Valley Custom Guns. The frame has had a 3lb trigger job performed by VVCG. The "heavy factory" contoured barrel is a 24" Shilen in .308 Winchester chambered by VVCG. The scope is a Leupold VariX III 3.5-10X40MM.
