I am looking for a Savage Model 219 in 30/30 WCF.I am only interested in the older model with exposed hammer and
top lever open.Must be in good-exellent condition and mechanicaly sound,with no cracks in the stocks and a good
bore.

Not really sure what you are looking for here but the Savage Mod 219 has no exposed hammer. It is the same basic gun as the Savage 220 shotgun, a single barrel hammerless with a top sliding safety, much like what is found on doubles. I have a 220 12ga but cannot help with the 219.

We have that exact model in our closet, my Dad shot his first deer with it. Trapper is right, there is no exposed hammer. Has a stiff pull to the trigger though.
